About Errika

Hello! I’m Errika. I hold a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in Applied Linguistics (TESOL), and I work mainly with young children and the grown-ups who love them.

I believe small children don’t study a language — they play their way into it. My lessons are built around songs, movement, stories, and lots of laughing. English becomes a meadow to explore, not a subject to pass.

A little background

• I’ve taught early-years and young learners English for over a decade, in classrooms and living rooms, to wrigglers, whisperers, and everything in between. The one thing every child has in common: they learn fastest when they’re having fun.
• I’m passionate about languages and always curious to learn new ones. I speak English, Greek, Italian, Dutch, and French — and understand many more.
• I’ve worked as an examiner for Cambridge English and Michigan Language Assessment exams, and I’ve prepared both children and adults to sit — and succeed in — these exams.
• I’ve taught in primary schools, bilingual primary schools, and IB schools, and I’m at home with the IPC and IB curricula.
